Let me introduce myself, my name is Leslie, but everyone calls me Les. I am 29 years old. I turn 30 this year, HOLLY CRAP!! Oh well, just another number I guess. I am a first time mother of a 13 month old beautiful baby girl. I know I am biased. She has changed my world in so may wonderful ways. I can honestly say I can't imagine my life with out her.<br /><br />I am married to the man of my dreams. We have been together for 4 years now, I think. We have been Married for just over 3 years now.&nbsp; I actually met him off eHarmony. I had totally given up on men and I was going to be the old cat lady. I already had two cats, my own truck, and my own place. I swore off men.<br />My best friend convinced me to give eHarmony a try, that is where she met her husband, and father of her little girl. I decided to give it a shot and low and behold I met my husband who live pretty much not even a mile away and we even had some of the same acquaintances. We met on November 2nd, 2006, ironically my best friend's birthday, and we have pretty much been inseparable since. <br />We got married in December 2007, and December 2009 we had our lil girl. <br /><br />A lot has changed for me in this last year. I had my lil girl, a month later we bought a house, and a month later I got laid off. I had been working at the company I was with for over 9 years. That was a major blow, but a huge blessing at the same time. I didn't realize how much it consumed me. I lived and breathed RETAIL! I mean I pretty much grew up in that store. Boy friends came and went, I bought my truck, I turned 21, I bought my condo, got married, and had a baby, and then bought a house. <br />Like I said it was a blessing too. <br /><br />I now work for a wonderful non-for-profit company as a phone rep at home. I get to spend the days with my daughter, and my husband gets the evenings with her, while I work.&nbsp; I didn't realize how wonderful life was outside the retail world. I didn't realize how much a I wasn't getting paid what I was worth. <br />I am now starting a new adventure.
